I woke up from a prophetic dream this morning. One might even call it a bit of a nightmare. I was in Australia and I came across a colourful item on the floor. I picked it up and realised that the item was a spider. It punctured me in the heart with its bite and I went into anaphylaxis. The first thing I did was cry out to my dad. He came with an Epi-pen and asked me if I would like to use it on me. Somehow I had the clarity to answer yes, so he opened the Epi-Pen and administered it on me. Instantly I began to feel better and watched as the holes in my chest given to me by the spider closed.
In my prophetic dream, Australia represented the wilderness and my earthly father represented the Almighty God. Some of you are walking the wilderness right now and are as a result going through a hard time. Perhaps sickness is plaguing you or you have lost someone dear to you. You’re looking around for something to help you and are unknowingly falling into traps that end up puncturing holes in your heart. These traps — whether it’s the people you’ve allowed into your lives, or sins you have committed — are poisoning your heart.
God wants to take this poison out and make you whole. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (MSG) says, “May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together – spirit, soul, and body – and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ.” All you have to do is cry out to Him and ask Him.
